- Since 2001 founder and coordinator of the www.ilFiltro.it portal for the evaluation of parental control systems over the Internet.
- Since 2002 co-director of the Italian version of the Interdisciplinary Encyclopedia of Religion and Science portal and teacher of Philosophy of nature and Philosophy of science.

- In 1982 Laurea Degree in Physics at Università Statale di Milano with a thesis on "Numerical study of the dynamics of a vapour bubble in a superheated liquid" (cum laude); he moves to Roma for further studies in operational research and philosophy and theology.
- In 1983 works part-time in the maintenance of hydraulic systems in a student residence.
- From 1984 to 1986 works in an EDP centre for office automation using Unix V7 and Ultrix.
- From 1986 to 1988 civil servant at Associazione Centro ELIS in charge of educational activities for young people. At the same time, works as a volunteer in the NGO ICU (Istituto per la Cooperazione Universitaria) setting up the information system based on RDBMS ORACLE running on VAX/VMS.
